MICHAEL SMITH is Your Discipleship Coach. Michael serves as the President of Professional Coach University. PCU is a coaching school that provides coach education ranging from Ala cart classes to full certification programs.
PCU also offers executive, team, and one-on-one coaching.
Michael also serves as the Executive Director of New Normal Coaching. NNC is a charity that offers complementary coaching and leadership development to pastors and Christian leaders.
Michael Holds a Masters in Leaders and Ministry, and is currently completing a doctoral degree at the AGTS in ministry with a concentration on Spiritual Formation and Coaching.
Michael is an ordained minister and has served in continuous full-time ministry since 1995. Michael currently serves as the lead pastor at Northwest Church in Mount Prospect, IL.
Michael serves as an adjunct professor at Evangel University Kenya Assemblies of God East Africa University teaching in the school of Bible and Theology. Michael teaches courses for the Illinois School of Ministry.
Michael has served as a coach with the Church Evangelism Initiative at Wheaton College.

Your Discipleship Coach was also released as a Podcast on February 5, 2022.
Your Discipleship Coach was birthed from the heart of Michael Smith. Serving as an Ordained Pastor and Professional Coach, Michael offers a unique perspective that encourages application of the Word of God. Six months before the first episode of Your Discipleship Coach, WYLL interviewed Michael. This began a conversation to that resulted in the weekly Radio Show. The Radio Show launched with an accompanying Podcast produced by WYLL.
